Film Description:
Shortly after her return from a trip to Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff die from that flu or other infections. Her young son dies in a few days. Her husband, Mitch, but it seems invincible. So begins the spread of the deadly disease. For physicians and administrators at the U.S. Center for Disease Control, a few days before anyone is aware of the extent or severity of new infection. They must first determine the type of the virus in question, and then find a way to deal with it, and this process will likely take several months. As the infection spreads to the millions of people around the world, social order begins to break down as people panic.
